Hybrid Affiliate Marketing

You know, if somebody would have told me just a couple of years ago that I would be involved with network marketing ever again, I think I probably would have laughed in their face. Really, it’s true. Years ago when I was basically wandering aimlessly not knowing what to do with my life when I was between bands as a road musician, I found myself involved in trying things out with both Amway and Usana.

When I look back at it now, it’s really quite a laugh. If there is one thing I know about myself in the offline world is that I ain’t no damn salesmen..that’s for sure! I remember going out on calls with my upline and trying to give presentations of showing “The Plan” to friends and family.

Whoah, what a horrifying experience. I think I did it about 4 or 5 times, and swore that it would never be a business I’d be involved with again. That had to be one of the most uncomfortable experiences a person can face! Thank the Lord for the Internet, as things have changed drastically and now with online network marketing it’s giving people the ability to really be successful with it.

The thing that I’ve really come to understand about online network marketing is that it’s sort of like hybrid affiliate marketing. I had some reservations when I’d first heard about GVO. I knew that the opportunity sounded great, but just the term itself “network marketing” still rubs people the wrong way. Also, when I started telling some of my friends about it to, they had the same type of concern.

At the start, the main reason I decided to get involved was that I had the opportunity to get involved right near the top of GVO, not all that far down from the owners actually. I was always told that to do really well with these types of things that it was best to always be near the top, so I decided to give it a go.

It sounded like a great opportunity so I decided to tell a few friends about it. The first person I shared it with was Holly Mann. And, the same thing..she was a little bit worried about the term “network marketing” as well. She wasn’t all that interested at the start either, but, apparently something was telling her that perhaps she’d better take a closer look at it. Holly has went on to become the strongest member in my downline, and there is no question..it is quite profitable.

I also told many other people about it. Some of them came onboard, and others were simply to worried about the stigma I guess.

In reality though, online network marketing is just a form of affiliate marketing. I think of it as affiliate marketing with some great perks! Hence the term “hybrid affiliate marketing”. When promoting the products and services, and somebody purchases, you make a commission just the same as any other affiliate product. The difference being that instead of only being paid on one level, or a two tier model, we make commissions all the way down ten levels. It’s pretty exciting actually, waking up and checking to see if more numbers are in there each day.

Also, sure enough GVO is a completely legitimate company and I receive payments from them around the same time each month. As a matter a fact, GVO is much better than a lot of affiliate programs I’ve promoted when it comes to actually being paid on time!

GVO Is Really All About The Quality Of The Products

When it comes right down to it, whether GVO was a regular affiliate program or a network marketing opportunity, I’d still happily promote their products and services. I completely do love the quality they deliver. Also, having everything in one place in the members area is awesome.

In fact, if GVO had been around when I’d started working online they would have saved me a lot of the problems I’ve had as a marketer. I’ve already been through a couple of hosting companies and auto-responder companies. Some of the problems I’ve had with some services has been near catastrophe. My whole business was practically completely wiped out at one point because of bad choices in companies to go with. Never again, I’m a completely happy customer of GVO.

Where else can you get excellent hosting, video hosting, bulk email auto-responder services, video conferencing services and monitoring tools all in one single place for their low monthly fee?  You can’t! It’s that simple really. Paying for all of these things separately runs a person a LOT more on a monthly basis.

If I only made a regular affiliate commission and their great residual income opportunity wasn’t even there, I’d still recommend them to anybody. I love their products and services, and their support is quick and efficient.  Just recently, I had to import 9010 members into the GVO auto-responder from a yearly event I co-host. Things like have always been quite a headache for me.  They impressed me once again. I didn’t even ask for help doing it…they freely offered to do it for me. Great!

Hell, I consider it “hybrid affiliate marketing” at it’s best..can’t beat it.
